More than 1500 GWSS adults were caught  on 91 traps among 24 different fields. This is the largest number of GWSS caught in the area in approximately 10 years.

Temecula Valley GWSS trap locations

GWSS activity is back up, with a higher than typical trap catch for this time of year. In light of this uptick in activity, we’ll continue to report trapping results on a bimonthly basis to clarify whether this is a short-term response to the weather the last couple of weeks or a longer-term trend for this season.
